Lexington Symphony Public Trusts Centennial Endowment Fund

In 2010, in honor of their centennial anniversary, the Trustees of Public Trusts of the Town of Lexington established the Lexington Symphony Public Trusts Centennial Endowment Fund.

The Trustees recognized the Symphony’s broad appeal to Lexingtonians of all ages and unanimously selected the Symphony to be the recipient of this funding. The Symphony has grown significantly to become an important cultural institution in Lexington and, in being so honored by the Trustees, joins the ranks of other significant Lexington institutions, including Cary Memorial Library and Lexington Education Foundation.

Funds from the Lexington Symphony endowment will be used to supplement the Lexington Symphony’s annual operating budget, which includes concerts and educational outreach programs.

Thanks to all of you amazing musicians for a most incredible job ... and for your generosity of spirit and willingness to help us ‘spread the gospel of all things fine and wonderful in this world.
